Joop Homme Ice by Joop! Cologne. Launched in 2020, Joop Homme Ice is a men’s woody aromatic fragrance with added citrus, floral and spicy accords. Clary sage brings hay, tea leaf and lavender-like tones in the opening, enhanced by the sweet, tart and spicy facets of bergamot, grapefruit and plum. The heart features an unusual three-note blend of orange blossom, cardamom and tobacco. This trio was skillfully chosen for their green, bitter, earthy, sweet and whiskey-like nuances. This scent closes with a single sandalwood note, lending its fatty, creamy, balsamic and floral undertones.
Joop! has released four dozen fragrances throughout its over four-decade history. Founded by designer Wolfgang Joop in 1978, the label debuted in the early 1980s with its ready-to-wear and menswear collections. Joop! Femme was introduced in 1987, establishing the brand’s presence in the fragrance world. Holy Fashion Group, a Swiss company, has owned this fragrance label since 2008. Perfumers crafting scents for the brand include Veronique Nyberg and Sophie Labbe.
